PVC Compounding Lines

Rajoo Bausano offers high-performance granulation lines designed to meet the diverse needs of the PVC compounding industry. The GRANULEX line is equipped with a full suite of components to produce high-quality granules, including an extruder, die, automatic screen changer (for recycled material), die face cutting system, water palletizer, and cooling unit.

The extruder in the GRANULEX line incorporates Rajoo Bausano's patented MULTIDRIVE system, which enhances energy efficiency and extends the lifespan of the gearbox. The system offers output ranges from 200 kg/h to 3000 kg/h, ensuring flexibility for different production scales. Granulation die heads are designed to ensure optimal polymer flow, while the quick-clamp feature facilitates easy cleaning, minimizing downtime between runs. Die plates are made from nitrided steel and come in a variety of designs, catering to the specific material being processed.

The automatic screen changer allows for seamless processing of both virgin and recycled polymers, such as PVC, PE, PP, PC, and ABS. The system efficiently removes contaminants from recycled materials, ensuring high-quality output. The automatic hydraulic screen changer is connected directly to the terminal of the barrel and can be integrated with all standard granulation heads. A flashing and acoustic alarm will notify the operator when a screen change is required, optimizing the material flow and minimizing interruptions.

The granulation head in the system is designed for precise pelletizing, achieving optimal distribution of the polymer on the die plate. It is engineered for quick opening and cleaning, significantly reducing downtime. The cutting system features a lateral air cutting unit, equipped with forced air circulation and a soundproofed fan, to efficiently convey the cut granules through stainless steel pipes to the cooler.

The cooling process is carried out using a stainless steel cooling plate with forced air circulation generated by AC air blowers. The granules are cooled by passing through an inclined drilled plate, which ensures efficient air flow and temperature regulation, resulting in uniformly cooled pellets. The cooler also features a chilled cyclone separator, which separates the pellets from the conveying air and fumes, ensuring clean and dry granules.

The cooling and granulation systems are further enhanced with adjustable granule separators and interchangeable nets for accurate granule sizing.

• Screen Changer:
  Rajoo Bausano’s automatic hydraulic screen changers allow the reuse of scrap or post- consumer plastics such as PVC, PE, PP, PC, and ABS. These screen changers efficiently remove contaminants, ensuring the production of high-quality granules. The system is designed for easy integration with granulation heads and includes a flashing and acoustic alarm for timely screen changes.
• Granulation Heads:
  The granulation heads or pelletizing units are essential for extrusion granulation processes. These heads are designed for optimal distribution of the polymer on the die plate, ensuring high-quality granules. The heads facilitate easy cleaning, reducing downtime and improving overall production efficiency.
• Cutting Systems:
  Rajoo Bausano offers different cutting units, such as lateral air cutting units, frontal air cutting units, and water cutting units for different types of polymers. The lateral air cutting unit uses forced air circulation to transport the granules to the cooler, while the frontal air cutting unit ensures lower blade surface temperatures to prevent decomposition of the processed material. The water cutting units are ideal for recycling materials like polyethylene and polypropylene, providing synchronized cutting and pulling operations.
• Cooling Units:
  Cooling is performed through forced air circulation over stainless steel perforated plates, with a vertical air flow valve at the base of the machine. This ensures uniform cooling of the granules, preventing clumping or overheating. The cooling system also features wall- mounted filters to maintain clean airflow, preventing contamination during the cooling process.
